Dr Tracy Kloos BVSc MVS Veterinarian

Dr Tracy Kloos BVSc(hons) MVS

Tracy grew up on the land but has chosen to focus on companion animals in her veterinary career.   Tracy graduated with honours from Sydney University and went on the complete a masters in veterinary science. Tracy's special interests  include cardiology and endocrine disease such as diabetes, thyroid and adrenal gland problems. Through Tracy's efforts we now have very comprehensive cardiac diagnostic and treatment protocols that include ECG and cardiac ultrasound. Tracy has completed additional ultrasonography training through the Centre for Veterinary Education at Sydney University as well as recently additional study in pain management. The Kloos family includes Boss the schnauzer, Ruby the Beagle and Squiggles , the cat. In her spare time you will find Tracy mountain bike riding.

Dr Cathy O'Neill BA BVSc DIp Ed Veterinarian

Dr Cathy O'Neill BA BVSc Dip Ed    

After a detour training as a high school teacher Cathy also graduated in Veterinary Science from the University of Sydney. Cathy not only enjoys dogs and cats but loves seeing pocket pets such as mice, rats, ferrets, rabbits and guinea pigs.
In recent years Cathy has completed  additional study in surgery,
cat medicine, animal behaviour, animal nutrition and opthalmology as part of ongoing professional development.

Cathy also enjoys working with Australian natives helping the Native Animal Trust Fund with their flying fox rescue and rehabilitation, kangaroos and possums with broken legs and what ever else needs care. Two adult sons, four cats and one husband keep Cathy busy at home.


Jessica Connell

Jessica is the person most likely to answer the phone when you ring or she will be the one to greet you on arrival. As our receptionist,  Jessica manages much of the behind the scenes business such as contact through social media, reminders and bookings for puppy school. Jessica's years working in the veterinary industry mean that she has a lot of knowledge about preventative practices such as flea control and worming but she is always happy to make sure any veterinary enquiries are answered by Cathy, Tracy or one of the trained nurses.

Rebecca Manthorp Cert IV VN
Veterinary Nurse

Rebecca is a Certificate IV qualified veterinary nurse. Rebecca enjoys all animals the more exotic the better. She would love to own a mini pig but has to settle Mater, a cat who came through here as a rescue  and her greyhound, Elroy.  Elroy (pictured) is a blood donor and he always get a cheeseburger after giving blood. Rebecca is working part time as she is now mum to a human baby boy.

Emily Jones  Cert IV VN
Veterinary Nurse

Emily is a qualified veterinary nurse. Before she joined Vetz much of her experience is in larger organisations such as local council and the RSPCA so she now enjoys the more intimate contact that comes working in private practice. Emily is currently studying occupational therapy at University and keeps very fit doing crossfit.

Grace Hop

Veterinary Nurse
Grace qualified in Veterinary Nursing in 2016 but has been working with us while completely her studies. Previously working as a qualified beautician we joke with Grace that she is working towards making the animals experience in hospital as restful and relaxing as it can be, just like at the beauticians!
Grace's calm manner, intuitive nature as well as her excellent clinican skills are an assett to our team and needless to say the animals love her.
Grace is also undertaking training as a Delta qualified animal behaviourist.


Emma Howell Cert IV VN

Emma is a Certificate IV qualified veterinary nurse currently undertaking studies in veterinary bioscience. As well she is kept busy volunteering at Taronga Zoo. Emma is going to help out on a part time basis making sure our client's pets continue to receive excellent care. 

Jess Pavlid is 
Jess joined us in 2017 as she finished her veterinary nursing Certificate IV.
Jess has quickly become a valuable member of the Vetz team and every day proves how well suited she is to a career with animals. 

Debbie White
Animal Attendant

Deb jobs share the Animal Attendant position with Alex and Indi.
Looking after the boarding cats and making sure that the hospital runs smoothly. Deb helps in lots of little ways so that everyones day is just that bit easier.
Debra is also a busy mum to two young children and four cats

Alexandra Tabley and Indiana Reed share the Animal Attendant postion with Debbie.
